Brag, Give Away & Thanks

Ok...I wont brag too much.  I try not to go on and on about my kids... 

but sometimes you just have to give a little shout out!!! 

Ok first....yesterday when I was all frazzled & had to run to Wal Mart for food...my kids ran around like crazy and cleaned the house!!  How wonderful is that????  They even made my bed!!! 

THE BEST KIDS!!!!

Second...my sweet girls made these rocks yesterday (found on Gaviota Beach)...for a dear friend!!

It all began with a kiss...

Well...I hope you have all survived the holidays!!  I cannot believe it is all over!  What a whirlwind!!!  

This week is my 21st Anniversary! Talk about a whirlwind.  Where did all that time go????  This is my little vignette to honor my anniversary...then I will keep it up for Valentine's Day! 

My kids think it is so funny that I have a perm....uh...it was 1991...OF COURSE I had a perm!!!

My Grandparents...my parents & my in-laws...aren't they all so beautiful!

I am on the search for a vintage cake topper to add to my collection...

Gelukki Nieuwjaar!!

Gelukki Nieuwjaar...Happy New Year in Dutch!!!  OK...and you have guessed it...I am still a bit obsessed with Gnomes!! How can you not just look at these and smile??? 

Ihope you have had a beautiful Christmas...have you recovered yet???  Do you leave your decorations up until February??  Mine were all down the day after Christmas...I am on to the next holiday!!

My dear friend loves Gnomes.  In fact, she convinced a bunch of us to dress up as Gnomes & ride on a float in our local Christmas parade this year.  SO MUCH FUN!!  AND...I have to admit...these little guys are growing on me!!

THANKS & Tears

  For some reason I am feeling extra nostalgic this Thanksgiving season.  Why???  I have no idea!  Just a sweet look from one of my 14 year old daughters sends me into a little crying jig...or a stroll down memory lane talking about my Gramma this week....well lets just say puddles of tears.  Funny how this happens every so often.  Makes you want to hug your family tight...call old friends that you have not seen for a while and most of all, thank God for all the blessings in your life.  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

~~First Fall Chill ~~

Oooooh...first cold, Autumn weekend here on the Central Coast.  Well...I mean cold for us...in the 50's most of the weekend and frost on the ground yesterday morning!  

I had a few tops of picket fences hanging around...made these primitive snowmen...LOVE them!!!  The bucket of the men...make me smile!!  What has made you smile this weekend???

   

Hoo knew that this owl would be my best seller this season???? 

 I have made & sold 10 of them in the last few weeks!!  YAY!!!   

 I had to share this pic of my son on Halloween!!  The best mask EVER!!!  He was so popular that he got twice as much candy trick or treating than my daughters!!  Too funny!!
