Sweet Christmas Tweets!!!

While the Hubby is away....

What a wonderful weekend my kids & I had!  My hubby goes on a "Guys Surf Trip" every December and USUALLY I dread it.  We miss him!!!  This year, we embraced it!!!  I had a little Christmas Tag making party with some girlfriends on Thursday night....so much fun!!!!  LOTS of laughing, eating & glitter...it does not get much better than that!!!  Then I just left my craft table up with all the goodies...and my 13 year old daughters and I sat and made Christmas tags ALL weekend!! Of course the crafting was fun...BUT I cannot tell you how priceless the time was!!  Sitting and chatting with them...so sweet. 

We stayed up really late every night watching Christmas movies...It's a Wonderful Life and many more!  We never really made dinner or meals...just sort of snacked our way through the weekend.

It was GLORIOUS...and just what we all needed. My hubby had a great time too...came back smiling.

Yes...It's a Wonderful Life!!

GLITTER EVERYWHERE!!!

OK...there could absolutely be WORSE things everywhere...but my vacuum is working overtime this week!!  We made a bunch of little "faith" & "believe" signs in really yummy colors...of course covered in glitter!!  These are all for a holiday boutique tomorrow night.  My partner & I decided to sell ALL of our signs for $10.00 each...normally they are $10.00-$24.00.  We just feel like spreading a little Christmas cheer and HOPEFULLY coming back with not too many seasonal signs!!  Hope you all have a beautiful weekend!!  Here is my Signs & Salvage FACEBOOK page...in case anyone wants to follow me on their too:)

Thankful...

I love Thanksgiving.  IT seems to be a holiday that is not too "commercial."  The shops just kind of skip right from Halloween to Christmas...and that is fine with me.  Gives me time to breathe with my family....before Christmas hustle & bustle...time to sink into Autumn...time to remember what I am thankful for.  It is chilly here this week...50's & 60's...breezy, California Fall day.  Today...right this second...I am thankful for so much...God who shows me grace every day...an amazingf amily...a home...friends that I get to have coffee with this afternoon!  I hope you have a beautiful Autumn Day!!!

Work Work Work...then play play play!!

Just some more signs I have been working on for upcoming shows.  SO trying to get ahead and not wait till the last minute!  These are off to my partner in crime's house for glitter & beads!!  My hubby and I are off to Vegas tomorrow...Sunday - Thursday!  That will be the longest we have been away from our kiddos...looking forward to 4 extra days off...no cooking & cleaning.  My hubby will be in a conference all day Monday & Tuesday.  My friend asked me, "Wont I be lonely on my own?"  Hmmmmmm...hours to myself...eat what I want, shop where I want... read as long as I want...I think I will manage!!!  LOL!!!  I am wondering if Vegas will be nutty on Halloween...great people watching!!  Happy Halloween to everyon!!
