Spring Break in Light

This is such a fun idea if you are going to the beach!!!!  Just use glow sticks and write out a message...

take a picture...SO COOL!!  We spent a fabulous week camping in Carpinteria, California...sooooo did not want to come back!!!

Vintage Advertising!!

What a fun surprise I found on the back of this vintage seascape!!  When they framed this beauty back in the 1960's...they used advertisements as backing!!  The kids and I had a ball looking at all the great deals!!  A parakeet and cage $1.87!!!  I would have loved to keep the backing...but it was crumbling & I really had to paint the frame white.  BUT it was a fun little blast from the past for the kids and I for a few days!!

Been out pick'n lately???  Here are a couple of my latest & oh so yummy finds...

I found 2 of these vintage stadium seats....LOVE them and they are actually sooooo comfy!  Well...as comfy as a stadium chair could be!  Only $2.00 each!!

Oh....look at this 2 DIE 4 bowling ball & case I found!!!  The color is gorgeous!!!  Just $2.00 for both!!!  FUN FUN FUN!!!

Say Hello to My Little Obsession...

You know when something just grabs you and you just HAVE to have it????  Like you cannot get enough of them and you are frantically searching Ebay & Etsy for killer deals????  Well...welcome to my Vintage Flower Frog Obsession...

I think I have 30 now...do you think I should stop???  My hubby is like...."OK...I like all your vintage stuff....but what the heck is up with all the pokey things???"  Stop????  Really???? Why??? 

Here's a couple of BEFORE & AFTERS...

 Old Covered Cheese Dish found atThrift Store...$5.00....transformed into lovely display piece.  So amazing what a littl paint can do!

3 Metal Camping Plates found at Thrift Store...$.99

transformed into totally Vintage Chic plates for crafting & beading!

This was a drawer kind of thing from a ratty old trunk found in my Gramma's attic...turned into a one of a kind shelf with chalk board!! 

 I LOVE Before & Afters!!!

Brag, Give Away & Thanks

Ok...I wont brag too much.  I try not to go on and on about my kids... 

but sometimes you just have to give a little shout out!!! 

Ok first....yesterday when I was all frazzled & had to run to Wal Mart for food...my kids ran around like crazy and cleaned the house!!  How wonderful is that????  They even made my bed!!! 

THE BEST KIDS!!!!

Second...my sweet girls made these rocks yesterday (found on Gaviota Beach)...for a dear friend!!

It all began with a kiss...

Well...I hope you have all survived the holidays!!  I cannot believe it is all over!  What a whirlwind!!!  

This week is my 21st Anniversary! Talk about a whirlwind.  Where did all that time go????  This is my little vignette to honor my anniversary...then I will keep it up for Valentine's Day! 

My kids think it is so funny that I have a perm....uh...it was 1991...OF COURSE I had a perm!!!

My Grandparents...my parents & my in-laws...aren't they all so beautiful!

I am on the search for a vintage cake topper to add to my collection...
